Mission Statement
The mission of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Police Department is to enhance the quality of life on the Reservation by providing professional police services to the public in order to maintain order, protect life and property, prevent crime, apprehend criminals, reduce fear and provide for a safe environment by enforcing the laws of the United State Constitution, the state of Louisiana, the Parish of Avoyelles, and the Tunica-Biloxi Indians of Louisiana

It is the mission of the Tribal Court of the Tunica-Biloxi Indians:
1. To provide a forum for the litigation of disputes within the jurisdiction of the Court.
2. To provide cooperation and guidance to all agencies if the Tribe, including social welfare, adoptions, juvenile probems and other matters affecting Tribal Members.
3. To pass upon requests for the enforcement of proceedings of Louisiana Courts where this is required, and also within the limitations of the jurisdiction if the Tribal Court.
4. To inspire confidence in the part of Tribal Members and non members, alike, in the fairness and the administration of justice. In this way to promote respect for the Tribe and its members, and self esteem of the Tribal Members.
5. To administer Criminal Law with respect to crimes among tribal members on the reservation.
